BC couple has hilarious solution to force themselves into isolation (VIDEO)

We’re all trying to get used to a new normal in an abnormal situation. One couple in Kamloops, BC, came up with a perfect and absolutely hilarious way to ensure that they adhere to provincial isolation guidelines.

Justin Young and his partner, Justine, shaved off each other’s eyebrows with the idea that sheer embarrassment will keep them from leaving their home.

The rationale is that it takes roughly two weeks for your eyebrows to grow back to their normal length, and all healthcare professionals have suggested a 14-day minimum quarantine period, making the Young family’s #IsolationChallenge game plan a pretty good one.

Laughter is healing. We are definitely staying home now for 2 weeks hahahaha,” writes Justin on his Facebook post. “Social distancing and self Isolating for now, is the life for us, for a brighter tomorrow.”

Justine Manuel and I decided to have some fun tonight amongst all that is going on in the world these days. So we thought we would do a self Isolating Challenge for the CoronaVirus19 2020 pandemic. Laughter is healing. We are definitely staying home now for 2 weeks hahahaha. Are you up for the Challenge, if so make a video, challenge another, and share have some fun everyone, they will grow back, we hope so anyway hahaha. We sure do got a Virus to beat. Social distancing and self Isolating for now, is the life for us, for a brighter tomorrow. Doing the things today that our future selfs will thank us for. Whoop Whoop. Hahahaha

It’s hard to watch this video without laughing alongside the pair, especially as Justine struggles to get the razor to kick off their plan.

“You just took the foam off!” exclaims Justin, as the duo continues to laugh up a storm.

When the tables turn, Justin has just as hard of a time shaving off his partner’s eyebrows. “Your eyebrows are so pretty [laughs]. We are not going anywhere with foreheads like this,” says Justin.

“Live well, enjoy your lives,” giggled Justin to wrap up their video. “Now we get to look at each other.”
