Noah Juulsen is no longer a member of the Vancouver Canucks.
Just two minutes after the start of NHL free agency, at 9:02 a.m. PDT CHEK’s Rick Dhaliwal reported that Juulsen signed a contract with the Philadelphia Flyers. It’s reportedly a one-way deal worth $900,000 for the 28-year-old blueliner.

Fans online complained about tampering given how fast the deal was signed, but Dhaliwal says the Canucks had given Juulsen’s agent permission to talk with other teams prior to the start of free agency.
The signing reunites the Abbotsford product with former Canucks head coach Rick Tocchet, who is the new bench boss in Philadelphia.
Juulsen was first acquired by the Canucks in a 2021 trade that also saw Juho Lammikko come to Vancouver and Olli Juolevi head to the Florida Panthers. After grinding away in the AHL for most of his career, Juulsen established himself as a depth defenceman at the NHL level the past two seasons.
With Juulsen off the board, it leaves just two Canucks roster players that could be lost for nothing in free agency: Brock Boeser and Pius Suter.
