Get ready to be inspired.

On March 7, the Women’s Collective will be hosting Jill Krop, longtime broadcaster and the current station manager of Global BC, in conversation with News Hour Anchor Chris Gailus.

Jill began her career in the mid-1980s after graduating BCIT. In 2015, she was the first woman to be appointed to the role of News Director at the station.

She is a longtime supporter of local charities including the Coast Mental Health Foundation, and BC Sports Hall of Fame, and she serves on the Board of Variety – The Children’s Charity, Burnaby General Hospital, and BC Children’s Hospital Foundation Marketing Board.

The topic of this fireside chat is the ‘best advice I ever got’ and Krop will be sharing lessons and advice she learned during her career and life.

The Women’s Collective is a series of inspirational, volunteer-driven, fireside chats aimed at mentoring and guidance for young women and men from diverse communities around the Lower Mainland.

All proceeds from the events go to women’s charities in British Columbia.
