A new must-try Japanese mochi bar is open in Metro Vancouver (PHOTOS)

No matter what the weather is outside, it’s truly never a bad time to enjoy some mochi.

And if you don’t happen to be near any of Whole Foods’ mochi ice cream bars, there’s a newly-opened spot in Richmond that folks have been loving.

J Sweets, located on the second floor in Richmond’s Aberdeen Centre (4151 Hazelbridge Way) offers up some sweet Japanese treats you have to try.

With a whole variety of flavours like Chocolate Banana, Red Sweet Potato, Black Sesame, and Sakura to name a few, J Sweets serves fresh mochi daily while quantities last.
