Imagine Van Gogh, the immersive digital art exhibition taking place at the Vancouver Convention Centre, has announced that expanded hours and additional tickets have been added to its upcoming event.

The experience opens to the public on March 19.Ā Tickets for the event went on sale in January but quickly sold out, breaking several records in the process.
A spokesperson forĀ Imagine Van Gogh says that Vancouver “outsold Montreal’s on-sale weekend” and is “on track to break previous Imagine Van Gogh Canadian sales records.”

The exhibition, which hails from Europe, features over 200 of the famed Dutch artistās paintings projected onto surfaces, transporting visitors to the heart of his work ā allowing the audience to āliterally enter the artistās world of dreams.ā

The exhibition footprint inside the convention centre is 30,000 sq ft. For context, the total exhibition space at the Vancouver Art Gallery is about 41,000 sq ft.
A new block of tickets will go on sale Saturday, March 6 at 8 am PST.
