The Room at Hudson's Bay in downtown Vancouver reopens with men's collection

The Room at Hudson’s Bay’s downtown Vancouver flagship store has reopened after a complete overhaul that creates an “Instagram-worthy experience” and introduces new menswear collections.
The upscale apparel department of the store has been “holistically rethought” to offer over 100 designer brands for both women and men, according to a news release.

“Discovery is at the core of The Room,” said Tyler Franch, vice president and fashion director of Hudson’s Bay, in a statement.
“We have curated the collections to appeal specifically to the Vancouver market, while still highlighting The Room’s unique point-of-view; one that’s more forward-thinking and conceptual, with a strong representation of each designer’s brand DNA.”

The 13,700-sq-ft retail space is designed as what has been called a “retail theatre” with photo-worthy installations and pop-ups starting with a 10-brand Korean designer showcase.
The designer brands include Thom Browne, Jacquemus, Balmain, and Vetements, and Marni, Maison Margiela, Lanvin, JW Anderson for men. There are also 20 exclusive brands, such as Arizona Love and Baum Und Pferdgarten.
