After being announced in Fall 2019, Metro Vancouver’s first Nordstrom Rack has opened to the public.

The outlet store division is located at the Willowbrook Shopping Centre in the Langley Township. Occupying a space previously owned by Sears, the outlet store has a floor area of 30,000 sq ft.

Product found at these discount-focused locations is best described as a combination of heavily discounted items from main Nordstrom locations, as well as outlet products from top brands.

Visitors can expect brand names such as Nike, Adidas, North Face, Champion, and Calvin Klein in the form of clothing, accessories, and shoes at up to 70% off.

The store also includes a selection of designer products from brands such as Moncler, Gucci, Rag & Bone, and Karl Lagerfeld.

The interior design of Langley’s Nordstrom Rack is also consistent with the brand’s newest design concepts,” which include large windows for optimal natural lighting, improved signage for customer navigation, and spacious fitting rooms that are equipped with an expanded seating and lounge area.

In addition to a central checkout location, customers will also be able to use Express Mobile Checkout, allowing them to purchase items from different points of the store. A spokesperson from Nordstrom says that this feature has yet to launch, however, and can be expected in the near future.

Upon opening, the brand teases that it has more than 15,000 pairs of shoes available in men’s, women’s, and kid’s sizes.

Nordstrom Rack in Langley marks the seventh location of the off-price division in Canada. There are outlets stores open in Calgary, Edmonton, Toronto, Mississauga, and Ottawa.

Additional Nordstrom outlet stores are expected to open in Metro Vancouver in the future, but the company says that none have been confirmed at this time.
