First-ever outlet store for Max Mara and Blubird opens in Vancouver

We don’t know about you, but we’re tired of wearing sweatpants and having nowhere to go. For Vancouverites, grabbing a new summer wardrobe didn’t really happen, but we are determined to change that for fall.

With soft layers, textured sweaters, and faux-fur jackets, there is no better time to give your wardrobe a cozy upgrade — even if that means you are a little overdressed for those work-from-home Zoom calls.

Vancouver-owned Vestis Fashion Group is making this happen for us, on a budget. The very first Max Mara, Weekend Max Mara, and Blubird outlet store is now open in the outdoor McArthurGlen Designer Outlet. As COVID-19 concerns are still prevalent, this location is the perfect alternative to walking through an indoor mall.

Bargain hunters beware, this outlet store is set to offer deals that will be hard to pass up. The new shop will boast some of the best designer trends, classic luxury styles, and accessories — all priced at least 30% below retail.

From now until September 13, there’s also going to be a Grand Opening Sale — giving shoppers the opportunity to take an additional 10% to 30% off everything storewide. But this isn’t your typical opening event.

The way it works is the more items you purchase, the more you save. For instance, when you buy three pieces, you’ll get 10% off, with five pieces it’s 20%, and with seven pieces, you’ll receive 30% off. We can’t think of a better reason to stock your fall wardrobe this year.

Shoppers will have the opportunity to browse through ready-to-wear suits, elegant dresses, and elevated staples from Max Mara, tailored casuals and activewear from Weekend Max Mara, and many other coveted brands, from Veronica Beard to RED Valentino, at Blubird. Oh, FYI, new additions will arrive at the outlet every week.

All of these brands are known for their quality and craftsmanship, with each having their own distinct fashion persona. Now, you can treat your inner fashion beast to these luxe designers and simultaneously save money.

The new outlet store joins three Max Mara boutiques in the city (Granville Street, Pacific Centre, and Oakridge Centre), three Weekend Max Mara locations (Pacific Centre, Metropolis at Metrotown, and Oakridge Centre), and two Blubird boutiques (Alberni Street and Oakridge Centre), where you can now shop fall/winter 2020 collections.

With ample parking and loads of outdoor spaces, we highly recommend adding a visit to this new designer outlet to your fall shopping list — but don’t forget to wear your mask.
