Famous Taiwanese fried chicken spot FINALLY open in downtown Vancouver
It’s been close to two years since fast-food chain Hot-Star Large Fried Chicken revealed that its first-ever Vancouver location was on the way, and now we’ve FINALLY got it.
The chain made its Canadian debut in Toronto when it opened in 2015, and now it operates several stores in Ontario, one in Montreal, and one in Richmond, BC.
Known for its massive (bigger than your face) chicken cutlets served in paper sleeves, the chain of fast food outlets originated at the Taipei Shi-Lin Night Market in Taiwan.

Now the downtown Vancouver location has soft opened.
Located at 566 Granville Street right in the heart of the city, Hot-Star Vancouver will offer patrons its full menu at the new location, which means the brand’s famous hot cheese chicken too.
Folks can look forward to a menu featuring the signature fried chicken in original, crispy, and BBQ-sauced styles, plus popcorn chicken, sweet potato fries, fried king oyster mushrooms, and house-mixed sodas.
