Japanese ramen chain Horin is preparing to open not one but two new locations in Metro Vancouver soon.

On its website, Horin has locations in Richmond (140-5911 No.3 Rd.) and New Westminster (815 Carnarvon St.) listed as opening soon.

The ramen claim to fame is its “57 years of exquisite taste from Fukuoka, Japan.” The menu consists of options like the Fukuoka Tonkotsu Ramen, where you can choose the noodle, dashi, spice, and lard level in your dish.

In addition to using housemade ramen noodles, the restaurant says that it makes its “broth and tare sauce by hand daily, making adjustments depending on the time of year as well as the weather.”

Currently, Horin operates locations in Vancouver and Burnaby. The team also opened a ninja-themed ramen restaurant in Vancouver last year.

An exact opening date for both locations has yet to be shared, but the restaurant did write that the Richmond outpost is expected to open in 2026.
