Vancouver’s pinnacle summer event is returning for its 28th year, as the Honda Celebration of Light announced its dates for this year’s festival today.

Fireworks are returning to the skies above Vancouver and the international light show is one of the most highly anticipated events of the summer.

While the participating countries will be announced soon, the event’s dates have been confirmed and are as follows:

Saturday, July 28
Wednesday, August 1
Saturday, August 4

According to organizers, it is estimated over a million people packed the beaches and parks around English Bay over the course of the three nights during last year’s shows.
