Robson Street's Café Crêpe permanently closed after 21 years

After 21 years of operation, Café Crêpe has permanently closed its 1032 Robson Street location.

This French-inspired chain is known for its sweet, souped-up crepes, breakfast offerings, along with soups, salads, and mains too.

The company told Daily Hive in an email that its operations have been “severely impacted by COVID-19” and that they were “unable to agree on rates with the landlord for a lease renewal given the projected cost of business restrictions and the economic outlook of Robson Street.”

Café Crêpe confirmed that while its Robson location is now closed for good, its 796 Granville Street Express location (Granville and Robson) will be opening in the next few weeks, so you can keep an eye out for this and get your fill once it’s up and running.

The brand will also be looking forward to opening a new Hong Kong franchised location in July.
