It’s slowly starting to sink in that the next three games Henrik and Daniel Sedin play will be their last in the National Hockey League.
After 18 years of playing for the Vancouver Canucks, the twins will hang up their skates.
Being known as leaders and figures of class around the entire league, current teammates, former teammates, and players around the NHL were quick to voice their goodbyes and recognition for the duo.
Here are some of the reactions that NHLers, professional athletes and a few celebrities have had about the Sedins’ retirement.
“It was tough to hear, it was emotional. I’ve played four years with them and it’s been an honour. They’ve been such great role models. Their leadership will be tough to fill.” –@BoHorvat #ThankYouSedins

Anyway, congrats to two Hall Of Fame careers and thank you for helping me along my way.🙏 #övik https://t.co/0gFIMwfVSc— Linus Ullmark (@Icebeardude) April 2, 2018

For 18 yrs we witnessed a unique on-ice magic that left crowds in awe. A new chemistry no one had ever seen before, leaving goalies & Dmen gawking for answers. There were no words to describe the magic.
In Vancouver we called it “Sedinery”. And it will be missed.#ThankYouSedins pic.twitter.com/g8MD8UNd6R— Brent Butt (@BrentButt) April 2, 2018
