Passengers now have another reason to take off with B.C.-based Harbour Air for their next trip.

North America’s largest seaplane airline announced today that it has entered into a partnership with Aeroplan, Air Canada’s loyalty and rewards program.

Starting on Wednesday, Dec. 10, travellers can earn Aeroplan points every time they book on an eligible fare.

“Harbour Air is proud to be part of everyday life for so many people across Vancouver and coastal British Columbia,” said Chris Fordyce, Chief Commercial Officer for Harbour Air, in a release.

“Now, every Harbour Air customer can earn Aeroplan points, and coming in 2026, Aeroplan Members will be able to use their points to explore more of B.C with Harbour Air. It’s a natural fit that brings our communities a little closer together.”

A fixed number of Aeroplan points can be earned by passengers based on the fare class, ranging from 100 points on the value fare to 200 points on the flex fare.

“We’re thrilled to welcome Harbour Air to the Aeroplan family,” added Scott O’Leary, Vice President, Loyalty and Product for Air Canada, in a statement. “As a quintessential part of Pacific Northwest travel, Harbour Air’s iconic seaplane service opens up a whole new category of experiences for Aeroplan Members.”

The seaplane airline recently announced its biggest expansion yet, with new routes and more flights set to roll out across B.C. and beyond over the next year.

By summer 2026, the seaplane airline said in a previous release that it will be flying up to 200 daily flights across 15 destinations, meaning more ways to hop between coastal communities, explore Vancouver Island, or even cross the border to Seattle.

It also recently launched its first-ever wheeled flight service from Vancouver to Tofino, just in time for storm watching season.

Air Canada recently shared good news for Aeroplan members collecting points.

If you’re worried about losing your Aeroplan points, Air Canada is giving customers more flexibility by extending their expiration dates.

According to the website, your Aeroplan points will only expire if your account has been inactive for 18 months.

“To give you one less thing to think about, we’ve paused the expiry of Aeroplan points until Nov. 30, 2026,” reads the update on the Aeroplan website.
