Celebrate Vancouver's multiculturalism with an incredible parade next weekend

Celebrate the diversity of Vancouver’s many cultures at the city’s multicultural parade.

Taking place from August 23 to 26, Harambecouver aims to promote a greater sense of awareness and pride for multiculturalism. And you can join in on the festivities – for free.

This year’s festival will feature a new component called #CVLTUREFEST, which will feature musicians and performers from diverse backgrounds who connect audiences with their music. #CVLTUREFEST will be headlined by two Vancouver locals –Kresnt and Ketafere.

Other events happening throughout the festival include:

  • Connect and network night (invite only) at Vancouver Civic Theatres – Thursday, August 23
  • Diversity Conference focusing on mental health and addiction at SFU -Friday, August 24
  • CVLTUREFEST at Thornton Park – Saturday, August 25
  • A multicultural parade at Thornton Park – Sunday, August 26

You’ll be able to enjoy a wide range of attractions including music, public art, live painting pieces and much more. And of course, there will be delicious delicacies from around the world to try during the four-day celebration.
