Happy Hours: $4 highballs and $6 craft cocktails at The Liberty Distillery

We’re sipping our way through Vancouver’s happy hours one drink at a time. Happy Hour is an important time in everyone’s life – or at least, it should be.

Amongst the charming shops and eateries located on Granville Island you’ll find The Liberty Distillery, a local craft distiller that produces small-batch spirits with big taste.

This spot is known for making killer drinks with gin, vodka, and now whiskey using 100% BC grain – so if you’re heading to happy hour here expect to sip on some of the best cocktails in town.

You have two opportunities to enjoy Liberty’s happy hour.

During the week from Monday to Thursday (from 3 to 6 pm) or on weekends from Friday to Sunday for the Brunch Happy Hour (from 11 am to 1 pm) head into Liberty to enjoy four of the distillery’s most popular spirits with the The Liberty Flight ($8.50), The Gin Flight ($8), or The Whiskey Flight (3 for $6.50).

You can also opt for $4 premium highballs with your choice of a long list of Fever Tree mixes including Elderflower Tonic, Ginger Beer, and Sicilian Lemonade, or order $8 martinis including a classic, breakfast, and espresso variety.

The only difference between the regular Happy Hour Menu and the Brunch Happy Hour menu is that the selection of out-of-this-world cocktails is completely different.

From Monday to Thursday chose from a list of seven craft cocktails including The Basford (Endeavour Gin, rosemary-grapefruit cordial, lemon juice), and The Thirsty Ginger (Truth Vodka, Thirsty Whale Cranberry Ginger Shrub, lemon, honey syrup, soda, and thyme).

When it comes to the weekend, this spot’s killer Caesar is available, along with a mimosa, The TLD Greyhound (Endeavour Gin, grapefruit juice, simple syrup, rosemary, and a salted rim) and other breakfast-appropriate concoctions.

All cocktails at $6 – no matter what happy hour you choose to hit up.
