Grouse Mountain has announced the closure of all of its mountaintop activities today due to “inclement weather.”

On Twitter, the resort noted the Skyride and Chalet are also closed for the remainder of the day.

This morning, Environment Canada said hazardous winter driving conditions will persist throughout the day on Tuesday as a winter storm warning remains in effect over much of Southern British Columbia.

The warning is in effect effect for several key routes, including the Sea to Sky Highway and the Coquihalla Highway.

The weather agency says that snow is likely to continue on the Sea to Sky and Whistler region throughout Tuesday, with up to 30 cm expected before the evening.

Grouse Mountain says mountaintop activities should reopen tomorrow. Full updates can be found on its website.
