On Friday, an estimated eight thousand people descended on the north plaza of the Vancouver Art Gallery to participate in a climate rally and march alongside teen climate activist Greta Thunberg.

#ClimateStrikeVancouver shut down streets in the city’s downtown core as Vancouver police directed traffic and participants peacefully.
