The sights, sounds, and savoury flavours of Greece were on full display in Kitsilano on Sunday, as the annual Greek Day event took over a section of West Broadway.

In spite of some rather mixed weather, the event still drew thousands to the street to see the various offerings, catch a live performance or two, and of course, enjoy a tasty treat.

The event is the largest one day Greek festival in Vancouver and it attracts more than 100,000 people every year.

For those who couldn’t make it, no worries.

Those who were able to attend wasted no time sharing their shots of the event on social media.
