The paper went up on the windows of Kistilano crepe destination Cafe Gypsy Rose in early spring, signifying permanent closure.
Daily Hive inquired to Gypsy Rose in April about their shuttering, and they told us that the space had undergone an ownership change and they weren’t sure what was going in next.
Well now the wait is over, the signage is up, and the doors to Gobble, a new destination for unfussy comfort food, are almost open.

Gobble, located at 2017 W 4th Avenue, did its first soft launch on April 27, which means it should be open soon.
The menu features gluten-free and dairy-free eats like steak, porchetta, and chicken, along with a selection of veggie dishes and sauces.
