An entire Go-Kart facility is being auctioned off in Richmond next week
If you’ve ever wanted your very own Go-Kart (or perhaps 60) your prayers have been answered.
Maynards, an industrial auctions company, will be auctioning off an entire Go-Kart facility. All of the items belonged to the former Richmond Go-Kart, which closed in September 2019.
The following, according to the company, will be up for auction:
- 29 “Sodi RT8” Go-Karts
- 32 “J&J” single and double Go-Karts
- Track support equipment
- A concession area
- General equipment
The Sodi RT8 karts are as new as 2015 and the J&J karts are as new as 2017.

Other items up for grabs include tire change machines, spare parts, helmets, grandstands, picnic tables, and a playground, just to name a few.

The auction is open to the general public and a preview for the items is scheduled for Saturday, November 16 from 9 am to 4 pm or by appointment.
Bidding for the online auction closes on Monday, November 18.
