Celebrate local heroes at the last FREE outdoor movie in Downtown Vancouver (CONTEST)

Summer is running out – and so are the free outdoor movies that happen around the city!

Earlier this year, we announced the first movie series at the new šxʷƛ̓ənəq Xwtl’e7énḵ Square (formerly Vancouver Art Gallery’s North Plaza) was coming, bringing flicks like Ghostbusters, Ocean’s Eleven, and Mrs. Doubtfire to the city’s centre.

We’ve seen eight films already hit the giant inflatable screen as part of the Summer Movie Nights on the Square series, and we’ve got one more to go.

To finish things off on Wednesday, August 29, Downtown Vancouver BIA is celebrating heroes with a screening of Avengers: Infinity War. And joining for the night are local heroes who protect our city: police officers, firefighters, first responders, and VPD’s K-9 unit. There’ll even be a fire truck in the square!

So bring your lawn chairs and blankets, thank a local hero, and celebrate a summer of outdoor movies in the square!
