Free online real estate platform expanding to into BC

The online real estate platform HonestDoor is making some big moves this spring.

A release from the free commercial and residential real estate information source has announced that the Alberta-based start-up is making its way west after raising $500,000 from investors.

The website offers Canadians comprehensive real estate information, including property taxes, transaction fees, permit data, weekly price estimates, and neighbourhood growth rates.

HonestDoor has already been seen in Edmonton, Calgary, Winnipeg, Manitoba, and 16 other Alberta cities.

The expansion plans to land in Vancouver and the rest of BC by later this spring.

The start-up also plans to launch a brand new listing service that will provide customers a one-stop shop for buying and selling property.

The round-one funding comes courtesy of Panache Ventures, Bluesky Equities, Conconi Growth Partners, and investors Ashif Mawji, Sanders Lee, Blaine Labonte, Greg Kwong, and Tate Hackert, the release states.

HonestDoor’s website states that it hosts information on over three million different properties throughout Canada.
