Fraser Health warns of coronavirus exposure at two car dealerships

Oct 16 2020, 1:22 am

Fraser Health is warning the public about potential coronavirus exposure at a set of car dealerships in Surrey and Langley.

The first dealership mentioned in the alert is Willowbrook Motors Ltd. in Langley, where staff and customers could have been exposed from October 3 to 8.

Willowbrook Used Ltd. in Surrey was also named in the exposure alert. The risk at that site was from October 4 to 8.

Anyone who was at these dealerships or did a test drive from them should monitor for symptoms for 14 days, according to the health authority.

The alert comes after someone who was at the dealerships on the dates mentioned later tested positive for coronavirus. It’s likely they were contagious while on the premises.

Contact tracers are working to notify the close contacts of the infected person directly, but the health authority is notifying the public so customers and other staff know to watch for coronavirus symptoms too.
