Dec 27 2019, 5:10 pm

Five Sails Restaurant, located in the Pan Pacific Hotel in Vancouver, will be closing next week and reopening under new ownership in 2020.

The restaurant is located at Canada Place pier above the Vancouver Convention & Exhibition Centre.

It’s known for its great views of  Vancouver Harbour, the Burrard Inlet, and the North Shore Mountains, along with its Pacific Northwest cuisine.

Owned and operated by husband-and-wife team Chef Ernst Dorfler and Gerry Sayers, Five Sails will be temporarily closing on December 31, 2019, because the owners are retiring, after which it will be reopening under new ownership.
