A Ferrari driving at what police are calling “warp speed” on a BC highway was impounded by RCMP on Canada Day.

According to a tweet from BC RCMP Traffic, the driver was travelling along Highway 97C in West Kelowna at over 200 km/h.

The driver was also handed a $483 ticket for their reckless speeding.

This wasn’t the only car impounded on Canada Day.

A McLaren supercar was one of 10 cars impounded for excessive speeding on the Granville Street Bridge.

The blue McLaren was going 130 km/h — over twice the bridge’s 60 km/h speed limit.
