Fairmont Hotel Vancouver to launch "Raincouver" afternoon tea January 11
Just when you think Notch8 can’t top its epic afternoon tea themes of the past, another great one pops up.
The restaurant, located on the main floor of the Fairmont Hotel Vancouver, is officially launching its new tea offering on January 11: Raincouver Afternoon Tea.

The W Georgia Street spot will welcome guests into its tea salon to enjoy the rain inside while keeping cozy from the real winter rain outside.
The tea, which runs Wednesday through Sunday until April 12, features both sweet and savoury treats.

Tea lovers can expect fare like a Crab Profiterole made with Dungeness crab, green apple, smoked roe and fennel, and sweet eats like the Chocolate Mud Tart served in a dark chocolate pastry shell, filled with chocolate crémeux, chocolate ganache and chocolate “soil” to name a few.
