Update: A spokesperson at TransLink has confirmed with Daily Hive that door issues on SkyTrain cars were the reason behind the delay. The issues have since been resolved, although there are still gaps in service.
Passengers using the Expo Line are asked to allow for additional travel time during their commute today.
At 9 am on Monday, TransLink shared on its Twitter page that the Expo Line is facing delays in both directions due to a “mechanical issue.”
The issue itself hasn’t been specified and at this point in time, it’s unclear as to when the Expo Line will return to full service.
The Millennium Line and Canada Line are not affected.
