Evo Car Share expands to Tofino with vehicles equipped with surfboard racks
A popular destination on the west coast of Vancouver Island, particularly known for its recreational surfing activities, is now served by Evo Car Share.
Just in time for summer, Evo is bringing its Evo Returns service to Tofino, including two vehicles at the Harbour Air terminal at Tofino’s main village and another two vehicles at Tofino-Long Beach Airport. This service is being offered on a seasonal basis until the end of October.
Moreover, the Evo Returns vehicles in Tofino are fully equipped with surfboard racks.
It should be noted that Evo Return is different from the typical free-floating Evo Car Share services found in Metro Vancouver and Greater Victoria. Evo Return is a round-trip car share, which requires all trips to start and end from the same Evo Return Zone. Trips can be booked up to 30 days in advance in the Evo smartphone app.
Evo Return and Evolve E-Bike Share are also available at Hullo Ferries’ terminal in Nanaimo.
Additionally, Evo Care Share is also expanding in Metro Vancouver — specifically at Vancouver International Airport. Evo Car Share has just launched 37 new parking spots at the parking lot next to SkyTrain’s Templeton Station, which is a short, free ride on the Canada Line from YVR Airport Station.
