Weather warning calls for 10 cm of snow across the Fraser Valley

Parts of the Fraser Valley could see up to 10 cm of snowfall before Monday afternoon.

Environment Canada has issued a Snowfall Warning for Fraser Valley – east including Hope

The weather agency says the snow is the result of a weak front moving across the Lower Mainland. Periods of snow are expected in the eastern Fraser Valley before rain returns on Monday.

In total, five to 10 cm is expected, although Environment Canada says that an additional two to four cm is possible.

Drivers are advised to adjust their driving to match the current road condition, to always use lights, and to maintain a safe following distance.
