Located in Chinatown in the space that operates as Honeybee Bruncheonette, Thank You Pizza is a counter-service concept offering a selection of sourdough pizza, natural wines, and beer.
Highlights from the menu include the Mushroom (extra virgin olive oil, mushrooms, mascarpone, aged mozzarella, parmesan, garlic, mizuna, and truffle vinaigrette), Burrata (tomato, burrata, basil, oregano, garlic, and extra virgin olive oil), and Calabrese (béchamel, soppressata, fior di latte, aged mozzarella, parmesan, red onion, chilli flakes, and basil). Plus, its specials can’t be missed, with its most recent being a pie topped with zucchini, sun-dried tomatoes, and whipped ricotta.

Earlier this year, Wood and his Lord of the Rings co-stars Sean Astin, Billy Boyd, and Dominic Monaghan were in Vancouver for Fan Expo. During their visit, they did more than just meet with fans. The four ended up dining in and around town and were very impressed with the local food scene.
Wood was so impressed with the food scene that he raved about it later during an interview with CN Traveler, giving a shout-out to Vancouver’s sushi and the city’s many award-winning restaurants.
“There are a number of Michelin-starred restaurants there. One of my favourite places that I just went to, and I hadn’t been in a long time, is Vij’s, the Indian restaurant,” said Wood.
Vij’s shared a photo of The Lord of the Rings stars after their visit, and said, “Welcoming Elijah Wood, Sean Astin, Billy Boyd and Dominic Monaghan to Vij’s felt surreal — four incredible artists whose work has brought so much joy to audiences around the world, gathered around our table in Vancouver.”
Among the other restaurants that Wood and company visited is Mott 32.

“British Columbia is so amazing. It’s always lovely to head up there. I mean, it is so stunningly beautiful. You’ve got islands and sort of fjords and mountains and forests and bald eagles, actually, kind of everywhere. It’s really, really beautiful with really great food,” added Wood in the CN Traveler interview.
