Elias Pettersson just made Vancouver Canucks history.
In Monday night’s game against the Chicago Blackhawks, Pettersson recorded the second assist on Markus Granlund’s 10th goal of season.
That point pushed him past Pavel Bure’s rookie scoring record — set in the 1991-92 season.
Pettersson is now officially the best rookie the Canucks have ever had.
61 points for @_EPettersson.

Already a clear frontrunner to win the Calder Trophy as the NHL’s Rookie of the Year, Pettersson leads all NHL rookies this season in goals, assists and points.
