Vancouver's fave $4.95 menu restaurant El Furniture Warehouse is opening in Victoria
Great news for lovers of cheap food and drinks who spend time in Victoria: An outpost of Vancouver’s beloved “all food is $4.95” restaurant, El Furniture Warehouse, is moving in.
Currently in the hiring stages, El Furniture Warehouse and its affordable menu of eats is getting cozy in their new downtown Victoria digs at 533 Yates Street, which previously housed an outpost of Vancouver’s The Reef caribbean restaurant.
For the uninitiated, the Warehouse Group calls themselves “premium dive bars.”
So basically they’re all about cheap drinks and eats and a space for a good time. Their all-day, every day $4.95 menu has all the usual suspects, from poutine to potato skins, along with noodle dishes, salads, sandwiches, pasta, nachos, and more. So basically you can stuff yourself silly, get some drinks in, and still be able to afford your fare on the ferry back to Vancouver.
This will be the eighth location in BC for the Warehouse Group; they also operate four restaurants in Ontario and four in Quebec.
The restaurant says they’ll be updating their Instagram account with details about the opening date, so make note, fam!
