The thoroughfare has been closed to drivers since late May due to the Fortis BC’s project to replace a natural gas line in Vancouver, Burnaby and Coquitlam.
The 20-km-long construction project runs through the three municipalities and will replace a 20-inch diameter gas line with a new 30-inch line.
