Driver ticketed for using bus lane after failing driving test for same reason
A Vancouver driver was given an expensive reminder to refrain from driving in bus lanes.
On Wednesday evening, Vancouver Police Department (VPD) Traffic Sergeant Mark Christensen tweeted about a vehicle that was pulled over for driving in a bus lane.

Upon inspecting the person’s license, police found that the driver didn’t have an ‘L’ properly displayed and didn’t have a supervisor in the vehicle either.
Christensen says the driver told the “officer she was coming from failing a driving test and provided documentation.”
“Reason for failing: driving in bus lane!” he writes.

As a result, the driver received a violation ticket totalling $327, which includes individual fines for driving in a bus lane, failing to display an ‘L’, and driving without a supervisor.
