Send us your questions for our Vancouver Mayoral Debate

Oct 9 2018, 11:43 am

On October 20, Vancouverites will elect a new mayor.

For the first time in a decade, a new face will lead the city locally and represent us globally. With outgoing Mayor Gregor Robertson stepping aside after 10 years in office, the city has a blank slate to work with and choose which direction they want to go in.

Last week, an online poll of millennials in the City of Vancouver showed that nearly 50% of voters were unsure of who to vote for. At the same time, we announced Daily Hive would be holding a live Vancouver Mayoral Debate to help gather enough information to make a decision.

It takes place tomorrow, October 10, at 7 pm.

Ahead of the debate, we want to know what you, our readers, want to know more about and what questions you need answered before you head to the ballot box.

To help ensure a productive and informative conversation, we’ve narrowed down the list of participating candidates to the four front-runners:

  • Kennedy Stewart (Independent)
  • Hector Bremner (YES Vancouver)
  • Shauna Sylvester (Independent)
  • Ken Sim (NPA)

Take our survey below and weigh in with the questions you want asked:
