After over a year of waiting, a highly anticipated ice cream shop opens in Metro Vancouver this week

Without a doubt, summer is the season to enjoy as much ice cream as you possibly can, and a new spot is opening its doors in Metro Vancouver.
After a year of waiting, Crema Ice Cream will be soft opening its first brick-and-mortar location in the Burnaby Heights neighbourhood.
“We’re still fine-tuning some last details, but we are ready to start scooping,” shared Crema online.

For those unfamiliar, Crema got its start as a food truck and is best known for its unique flavours inspired by co-owners Heidi and Joe’s Peruvian and Taiwanese roots. Think horchata, miso pecan, Thai iced tea, and lucuma brownie, to name a few.
