Vancouver Coastal Health (VCH) is warning the public of another possible COVID-19 exposure at a Vancouver restaurant.

According to VCH, Hawksworth Restaurant, located at 801 West Georgia Street, is the latest site of possible exposures that occurred on August 13, from 6 pm to 12 am

“The possible exposures listed on the site are believed to be low risk, but we’re asking anyone who was at Hawksworth Restaurant on those dates to self-monitor themselves for symptoms,” said VCH.

The restaurant took to Instagram to inform its patrons after receiving word of the exposure.

“Vancouver Coastal Health has just informed us that multiple guests who dined with us on August 13 tested positive for COVID-19,” the caption read. “These guests were part of a private event located in our York Room event space – away from our main dining room.”

Hawksworth Restaurant said it is closed for service until further notice. The staff members who worked that evening have been tested and “will isolate until Vancouver Coastal Health has deemed they can return back to work.”
