Interior Health has issued a public alert for possible exposure of COVID-19 at a Gentlemen’s Cub in Kelowna.

Testing in Kelowna revealed to Interior Health that The Liquid Zoo, a Gentlemen’s Club at 74 Lawrence Ave, may have been a site of coronavirus exposure.

Inidivuals who visited from July 15-18 are asked to self-monitor closely for symptoms of coronavirus for 14 days, and to get tested if they begin to exhibit any symptoms.

“Public health contact tracing is under way, and where possible, IH is reaching out directly to individuals who have been exposed,” says the public alert from Interior Health.

Another business in Kelowna was the site of coronavirus exposure last week, after a broad coronavirus exposure warning was put out by BC Health Officials.

Provincial Health Officer Dr. Bonnie Henry says that there are dozens of  cases that are related to exposures in Kelowna and that there are also over 1,000 British Columbians across all health authorities that are self-isolating as a direct result of activities in Kelowna.

Symptoms of coronavirus include fever, cough, shortness of breath, difficulty breathing, loss of taste or smell, and gastrointestinal issues.
