An employee at the Real Canadian Superstore in Mission has tested positive for coronavirus.

In a statement on its website, parent company Loblaw said the employee tested positive for COVID-19 on July 29, and the last day they worked at the location was on July 24.

The store is located at 2136 Lougheed Highway.

The latest case follows another COVID-19 case this past weekend at a Superstore in Surrey, where an employee at the store’s 14650 104th Avenue location worked.

In that case, the company said the store was closed to the public for cleaning and sanitization.

And on its website, the company said it encourages “our colleagues and employees to wear masks, particularly where physical distancing is not always possible.
