A huge new commissary kitchen is opening in Vancouver this winter.

Coho Collective will be opening a new 10,000-sq-ft commissary in East Vancouver, at 1370 East Georgia Street to be exact.

Located on the border of Strathcona, this new space will feature Coho’s first café and event space once it opens.

The 16-seat café will offer Elysian Coffee, pastries, bread, and eventually grab-
and-go lunch options by Coho members.

Almost 50 per cent of the kitchen space has already been locked down by purveyors like Salty Cabbage, Sriracha Revolver, BobAli Foods, and Kiki’s Kitchen.

This will be Coho Collective’s third commissary. The company also operates locations in North Vancouver and in Vancouver on Powell Street.

“We want our café to be a destination for people to try our members’ creations,
almost like a test kitchen,” says Andrew Barnes, CEO of Coho Collective, who opened the first commissary in 2018 with co-founder and COO Amrit Maharaj.

We’ll keep you posted as this spot progresses.
