The Odyssey Bar and Nightclub will be hosting a trans club night in August, complete with DJs, gogo dancers, and strippers putting on shows throughout the night.
Coconutz and Bananas is an inclusive event that offers a safe space for trans, gender bending, non-binary folk and their allies to celebrate the community.

The night’s dancers will represent the transgender umbrella, and there will be DJs from Australia and Toronto to turn up the tunes.
“The trans community has very seldom space to occupy in this world,” said event organizer Anasteja Layne in an email to Daily Hive.
“Throughout the rainbow community there are designated safe spaces but not many of which accept trans bodied people. We realize there is a miseducation and underrepresentation of trans people in the public.”
Notable members of the community @KidXandra and @jacktm will be in attendance.
A portion of the night’s proceeds will be going towards the Saige Community Food Bank and the Eagle Project.
