Nov 3 2020, 4:22 pm

Chung Chun Vancouver is getting closer to opening its doors, so close, that we can almost taste those rice hot dogs already.

While Robson Street already has a loaded hot dog joint for Vancouverites to enjoy, Chung Chun is aiming to be the top spot to get next-level ‘dogs in the area.

This global Korean rice hot dog spot opening its first Vancouver location on November 10, at 1795 Robson Street in the West End, the former location of a Pacific Poke outpost.

Chung Chun will be offering a cheap deal on its opening day: All hot dogs will be just $2.99.

That means a dozen varieties of this spot’s signature handhelds will be up for order, for very cheap. I love that for us Vancouver.

The company is advertising 12 different varieties of Korean rice dogs, including flavours like squid ink cheese, chicken, and a jumbo one, to name a few.

Chung Chun makes its hot dogs by wrapping them in rice flour batter. Then they’re generously coated in different toppings, including everything from diced potato to breadcrumbs to ramen chips.
