You can fly from Vancouver to Honolulu, Hawaii, for $359 this winter

This winter, you can trade Vancouver’s rain and snow for some much-needed island time — all for a steal of a price.

WestJet has started its annual Black Friday and Cyber Monday sale, and as a result, there are plenty of savings to be had on flights across Canada, the United States, Mexico, and the Caribbean.

If you’re looking for some beach time, you can now fly from Vancouver (YVR) to Honolulu, Hawaii (HNL), for $359 roundtrip.

There are plenty of dates available, with travel taking place between January and early June. Flights around this time of year can cost well over $500 or $600, so now’s a great time to book.

Each leg of the flight is approximately six hours in duration (non-stop). Keep in mind, however, that the price of luggage is not included with the base fare of the flight. This deal can be booked until December 1 at 10:59 PST and has several blackout dates in mid-May.

Here’s how to book the flight: 

1. Visit the WestJet website.

2. Enter your departure and return destination as Vancouver (YVR) and Honolulu, Oahu, Hawaii (HNL), respectively.

3. Select dates with a yellow tag (departure prices should be priced at $208); return flights should be priced at $152).
