You can fly from Vancouver to Montreal for under $300 roundtrip this winter

If you’re willing to brave the cold, you can enjoy an east coast excursion at a fraction of the price.

WestJet is hosting a one-day sale on winter flights within Canada. Until 10:59 pm PT, flyers can receive either 35% off base fare (with promo code BD83D5CD) or 15% off (with promo code E89OT61) and there are some excellent deals to be had.

For example, you can now fly from Vancouver (YVR) to Montreal (YUL) for as low as $290. Flights are available between January 7 and February 12, 2020, and prices around this time of year can go for well over $400.

Be sure to book fast, however, because WestJet claims that the 35% code can only be used 2,000 times before it expires.

Each leg of the flight is between six to seven hours in duration and includes a layover in either Calgary or Toronto, but there are a few non-stop flights available.

2. Enter Vancouver (YVR) and Montreal (YUL) as your departure and return destination, respectively.

3. Enter the promo code BD83D5CD.

4. Look for flight dates with a yellow tag. Departure flights should be priced between $164 and $169; return flights should be priced at $173 — the discount will apply on the next page.
