'Thailand's number one tea brand' to open first Western Canada location in Vancouver
The self-proclaimed number-one tea brand in Thailand — Cha Tra Mue — is making its way to Vancouver with its first-ever Western Canada location.
“Since 1945, Cha Tra Mue has been the heart and soul of Thailand’s tea culture,” said the tea shop. “Generations of tea lovers have grown up with the rich, creamy, and fragrant taste of our original Thai tea blend — a closely guarded recipe that’s been perfected over 80+ years.”
At its Vancouver outpost, the tea brand said it’s dedicated to sharing that same real taste of Thailand’s favourite tea.
What makes Cha Tra Mue tea so special is that it is brewed from carefully selected black tea leaves and finished with creamy condensed milk.

“It’s more than just a drink — it’s a taste of Thai heritage in every sip. From bustling Bangkok streets to neighbourhood tea shops across Asia, Cha Tra Mue has become a beloved icon,” said the tea shop.
Currently, Cha Tra Mue operates many locations throughout Asia and the U.S. Additionally, a Toronto location is expected to open soon, marking the brand’s first outpost in Canada.

As for its first Vancouver location, it will be found at 736 West Broadway. An exact opening date for the tea shop has yet to be announced.
