Is there anything better than a celebrity sighting right in your hometown?

Get ready to snap that perfect insta-worthy pic, and maybe even a selfie if you’re lucky enough, and hit the streets of Vancouver because this month’s possible celebrity sightings are sure to have you feeling starstruck.

Here are 12 celebrities you can spot in Vancouver during May!

Prepare yourself Vancouverites – rumor has it, Ryan Reynolds is coming to town.

Reynolds will be returning to his hometown of Vancouver to film Deadpool 2, which is set to begin production at the beginning of May, and is known by its working title of ‘Love Machine’.

Anna Faris

Known for her comedic roles, platinum blonde hair, and natural charisma, Anna Faris will be in Vancouver for her new role in the romantic comedy Overboard.

Faris rose to fame starring in the first four Scary Movies as main character Cindy. She is also known for her role in The House Bunny, What’s Your Number? and most recently, as Christy on the CBS sitcom Mom.

Liam Neeson

We watched him save the day and rescue his daughter in Taken, and then his ex-wife in Taken 2, and now Liam Neeson is returning in another action packed film Hard Powder.

The movie follows a snowplow driver who seeks revenge against drug dealers he believes killed his son, and is currently filming in Vancouver until May 24.

Emmy Rossum

Starring alongside Neeson in Hard Powder is Emmy Rossum who is best known for her role as Fiona Gallagher in the TV series Shameless. 

Jon Bernthal

Jon Bernthal will be in Vancouver filming for his role in the crime thriller Stingray – which the Australian actor also co-wrote the script for. You may remember him as Shane Walsh from the AMC series The Walking Dead .

Joel Edgerton

Also starring in Stingray alongside Bernthal is actor and filmmaker Joel Edgerton. Edgerton has made appearances in films such as Star Wars: Episode II Attack of the Clones, Warrior,  The Great Gatsby and most recently, as a corrupt FBI agent in the drama Black Mass.

Kristen Connolly

Kristen Connolly, star of The Cabin in the Woods, is likely in Vancouver until June, filming the third season of CBS drama Zoo. The series follows a team of scientists investigating a rash of violent animal attacks.

James Wolk

James Wolk has a long history of roles in television – starring in a few Shameless episodes, and making appearances in ABC’s Happy Endings, season six of Mad Men and CBS sitcom The Crazy Ones. Wolks will be in Vancouver for his lead role of Jackson Oz in Zoo.

Kelly Overton

Kelly Overton may be spotted in town throughout May filming for Van Helsing, in which she stars as the main character Vanessa Helsing. Season two began filming in February and is expected to be wrapped up by May 30.

Burkley Duffield

Burkey Duffield is a Canadian actor who is born and raised in Vancouver. He is known for playing Eddie in House of Anubis and is currently plays the lead role of Holden in Beyond, which is filming season two in Vancouver until August.

Molly Parker

Better known as ruthless Jackie Sharp on House of Cards, Molly Parker could well be in Vancouver through to June, filming Lost in Space, a remake of the 1960s sci-fi series of the same name.

Adam Devine

Best known for his quirky charm as Bumper in the Pitch Perfect films, Adam DeVine will be in town filming Game Over, Man! until June 6.

At the moment the plot is being kept very hush hush, but is said to be an action comedy starring his Workaholics colleagues Anders Holm and Blake Anderson.
