This Vancouver donut shop is throwing an epic dinner party

If you’re a foodie, you’ve most likely heard about U-Feast Vancouver, a fresh way to experience and learn about food in the city while mingling with other like-minded people.
So far their events have been killing it, tickets are in such high-demand that it’s difficult to snag one sometimes. The sold-out Vij’s dinner is going down on November 15, and the Winter Harvest Feast at Wildebeest (also sold out) is happening on November 28, so your next opportunity to get a hearty serving of edu-tainment will be during the No Respect – A Donut Homage at Cartem’s Donuterie on December 6.
Cartems’ owner and Executive Chef Rags Narine will be creating a donut-centric feast with a combination of savoury and sweet dishes throughout the night.
Take a seat at the communal tables at the shop’s West Pender location and enjoy a five-course menu boasting dishes like Accras Fritters, Tomato Dumpling Chowder, Stuffed Duck Confit, Donut Ice Cream, and Brie Donuts.
The alcohol pairing is yet to be announced, but we can’t think of anything that wont go well with one-of-a-kind donut dishes.
