Dad’s car impounded after N driver clocked 86 km/h over limit

It’s going to take a lot of chores to get out of this one.

Earlier today, Cst. Walker of the Abbotsford Police Department (APD) impounded a vehicle for speeding.

The driver of a white Volkswagon SUV was caught going 136 km/h in a 50 km/h zone.

Cst. Walker explained on Twitter that in addition to a hefty fine, paired with a ticket for excessive speeding, the driver lost his license.

The vehicle, naturally, was impounded – but it wasn’t the driver’s, it was his dad’s.

It sounds like he won’t be behind the wheel for a long, long time.
