Here's what Canucks players dressed up as for Halloween (PHOTOS)

There will be no trick or treating for Vancouver Canucks players this year, as they’re featured in the only game on the NHL schedule tonight, against the Chicago Blackhawks.

Instead, the Canucks held their annual Halloween party this week, and as usual, the creative costumes did not disappoint.

NHL teams typically go all out for Halloween, as evidenced by this year’s crop of photos of players from around the league that have already popped up on social media.

As far as the Canucks go, you might be surprised which players went all-out with their costumes this year.

It should come as no surprise that Bo Horvat and his fiancƩ Holly Donaldson went with a couples costume. They routinely melt the hearts of fans, particularly after their engagement shoot last month.

Dressing up in Mario Kart costumes, they get bonus points for the balloon battle theme.

A pair of baby-faced Canucks combined for perhaps the funniest costume. Elias Pettersson and Nikolay Goldobin have shown chemistry on the ice and made the perfect Minions off-ice.
